Year 13 is a rewarding and pivotal time for students at Ashfield School as it provides them with the final steps towards the world of employment or higher education. It is for many students the key point as they now utilise the independent study skills gained during Year 12 to now push on to achieve success.
Students are required to have a mature and dedicated approach to Year 13 ensuring that they have an extremely high work ethic from the outset of their courses. Excellent attendance, punctuality and conduct are a must and are the foundations on which they can build their success through focused study.
Students that have chosen to continue their studies with us and they rightly expect high standards in terms of curriculum delivery and support. In return we expect students to grasp the opportunities available to them and if they do they will find Post 16 one of the most rewarding stages in their education. Importantly their choices for University, training or employment will then become a reality.
In Post 16 we want our students to ASPIRE to fulfil their potential and this requires a focus on academic and social achievement - enabling every learner to achieve the grades and qualifications that reflect their true potential.
