Eligibility for travel assistance depends on your home address and the catchment school. Assistance is organised by the NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TRANSPORT SERVICES who can be contacted as follows:

SCHOOL BUS TRANSPORT INFORMATION 2014/2015

ANNESLEY WOODHOUSE / KIRKBY IN ASHFIELD SERVICE - Students can travel either by paying cash to the driver or by producing a valid pass. N.B. All passes for this service are obtained by applying to Nottinghamshire County Council Transport Services.

HUTHWAITE AND SURROUNDING AREAS SERVICE - In order to travel on the Huthwaite buses students need to provide the driver with a ticket or produce a valid pass. Cash is not accepted on the Huthwaite buses. The price of a ticket is £1 and is for one single journey. Tickets are not dated and therefore can be used as and when necessary. Tickets should be purchased via Parent Pay with the minimum purchase being £10.

Bicycles

CYCLES

Parents' are requested that prior to allowing their child to cycle to school, that the child is a competent cyclist, aware of the hazards on route to school, and that their cycle is fully roadworthy, e.g. brakes, lights. Cyclists are advised to wear helmets. Cyclists must come in through the entrance, along the path, and when exiting the school leave via the path or the exit drive. Students must wheel their cycles ON ALL OCCASIONS on the school premises. The school bike shed is locked during school hours and cyclists are requested to also lock their bikes.

Note: Students bring bikes to school at their own risk. The school accepts no responsibility for any damage or theft.
